Request organizational checkout
Submit your organization and exemption certificate for review. Approval is required before tax-exempt checkout can be used.
How the process works
1. Submit the request. Provide your organization, contact, billing, exemption certificate, and intended-purchase information.
2. We review it. 3D Local Print verifies the submitted certificate and may contact you if updated information is needed.
3. Approval is connected to Stripe. Once approved, your organization receives a Stripe Customer record marked as tax exempt.
4. Identify the organization at checkout. Select tax-exempt organizational checkout in the cart and enter the approved contact email and exemption certificate number.
5. Complete payment using organization funds. The order is recorded as a tax-exempt organization order and linked to the organization’s Stripe Customer.
Approval only applies while the exemption documentation remains current. Purchases must be paid directly with organization funds and used for the organization’s exempt purpose.
